Predictor of breast cancer severity found

Cancer Researchers at Stanford University report that breast cancer cells have a lot in common with those in a cut finger. According to the research, what happens on a molecular level during the wound-healing process closely resembles cellular activity gone haywire in some breast tumors. Establishing this conneection may one day help clinicians predict a breast cancer patient's chances of survival, as per the research report. Read full story at Arizona Republic.
